Maple and Walnut Glazed Brussel Sprouts
Serves 10-12 people who actually like Brussels sprouts.
1 ½ lbs Brussel sprouts, ends trimmed
3T Unsalted butter
1t Salt
1t Black pepper, fresh cracked
3T Walnut mustard
¼ c Pure maple syrup
½ c Chicken stock
1. Preheat a deep sauté pan with tight fitting lid over moderate heat.
2. Add butter and sauté brussel sprouts for 2 minutes.
3. Add remaining ingredients cover and cook for approximately 10 more
minutes or until brussel sprouts are just tender.
4. If the sauce has not reduced down to a thick glaze, remove lid and
continue to cook until reduced.
