Leah J
Working as a Class Assistant and Event Administrator at The Chopping Block inspired Leah to pursue a career in food and nutrition. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Leah’s goal is to make healthy eating and healthy cooking approachable and user-friendly. Many studies have shown that people who cook more often have diets that are more nutrient dense. Leah’s hope is to empower people to take control of their health by being REAL: • Eat real food. • Make it real easy on yourself. • Knowledge based on real science. • Changes that are realistic. When she’s not working with clients or in her kitchen cooking, she is performing improv comedy around Chicago with her improv troupe, SKORT, a group of eight dynamic and hilarious women.
