The Chopping Block is the heart of Chicago's culture-rich Lincoln Square neighborhood surrounded by local restaurants and one-of-a-kind specialty stores. Our Lincoln Square location has two kitchens as well as an outdoor grilling patio.
Our cozy Eggplant Kitchen accommodates up to 20 students and is surrounded by our retail store, the perfect backdrop to be inspired to cook.
The Thyme Kitchen encompasses the entire upstairs of our building and offers a spacious and comfortable cooking experience for hands-on classes of all sizes.
An outdoor grilling patio at Lincoln Square gives our students the chance to cook under the sun and stars. We offer both hands-on and demonstration grilling classes during Chicago's spring, summer and fall. Students will learn to use both charcoal and gas grills in every outdoor class.
