Celebrating Julia Child

Julia Child revolutionized American cuisine by presenting an approachable version of sophisticated French cooking techniques. Join us as we pay tribute to this Master Chef and prepare dishes inspired by her most famous book, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking."

Menu:

  • Quiche Lorraine with Petite Salade
  • Trout Almondine
  • Asparagus a la Provençal (Asparagus with Tomatoes, Garlic and Herbs)
  • Strawberry Clafoutis

  • French Cooking Techniques
  • Rolling and Blind Baking Pie Dough
  • Selecting and Sauteing Fish
  • Blanching Green Vegetables
  • Making Baked Custard

1-week cancellation policy. Due to the layout of our kitchens and in consideration of your classmates, students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people. Parties of 6 or more will be directed to our private events department so we can accommodate them appropriately.
